Fire Extinguisher Types:
- ABC Dry Chemical Fire Extinguishers use a monoammonium phosphate dry chemical to insulate Class A fires by melting and clinging to the heated surface. They also smother and break the chain reaction on class B fires and are non-conductors of electricity. Ideal for use in offices, warehouses, homes and more.
- BC Dry Chemical Fire Extinguishers contain a siliconized sodium bicarbonate based dry chemical, making them suitable for combating flammable liquid and pressurized gas fires. They are also electrically non-conductive and the chemical by nature will not bake to hot surfaces, allowing for easy clean-up. Ideal for kitchens, garages, boats and vehicles.
- Purple K Fire Extinguishers contain specially fluidized and siliconized potassium bicarbonate dry chemical that is most effective on Class B flammable liquids and pressurized gases. They are electrically non-conductive and have long been the choice of oil, gas, chemical and utilities companies as the preferred firefighting agent.
- Halotron 1 Fire Extinguishers contain a “clean agent” hydrochlorofluorocarbon discharged as a rapidly evaporating liquid that leaves no residue. Pressurized with argon gas, and EPA approved as an HCFC blend agent. Halotraon 1 extinguishes Class A and B fires and will not conduct electricity.
- Halon 1211 Fire Extinguishers contain a liquefied gas, pressurized with nitrogen, which discharges as a vapor, causing no cold or static shock and no impairment of the operator’s vision. This clean agent quickly penetrates difficult-to-see and hard-to-reach areas and leaves no residue.
- Carbon Dioxide Fire Extinguishers CO₂ effectively fights Class B flammable liquid fires and are electrically non-conductive with a clean, non-contaminating and odorless gas. They are perfectly safe for use on clothing, equipment, valuable documents and food.
- D Dry Powder Fire Extinguishers effectively fights fires involving magnesium, sodium, potassium and sodium-potassium. Ideal for use on combustible metal fires.
- K Wet Chemical Extinguishers contains a special potassium acetate based low PH agent developed for use with pre-engineered restaurant kitchen systems.
- Stored Pressure Water Extinguishers utilize the cooling, soaking, and penetrating effect of a 45-55 ft. stream of water.
- Foam Extinguishers offer easy, effective application thanks to their air aspirated nozzles. Ideal for emergency first response vehicles.
- AFFF Portable Foam Fire Extinguishers are effective on class A and B fires. Features easy and effective application using the hose and air-aspirating nozzle.
- Non-Magnetic Stored Pressure De-Ionized Water Mist Fire Extinguishers are the ultimate extinguisher for Class A fires where potential Class C (electrical) hazards exist. The fine spray produced from its unique misting nozzle provides protection against electrical shock and greatly enhances the cooling and soaking characteristics of the agent. It also reduces scattering of burning materials. This unit uses de-ionized water, making it the best choice for hospital environments, protecting valuable books and documents, telecommunication facilities, and “clean room” manufacturing facilities. They’re easy to use, maintain, and service too.
- Wheeled Extinguishers available in Dry Chemical Stored Pressure, Dry Chemical Nitrogen Cylinder Operated, Class D, Foam, Carbon Dioxide and Halotron 1.
